Our Founders

Inspiro Recovery was founded by Damian Trujillo and Kenny O’Rourke with nothing but vision and belief that all people, without exception, can rise above the bondage of addiction and alcoholism. Together, with the tremendous support of their friends and peers, they have aggressively challenged the drug epidemic that has been terrorizing our communities. For years, they have been working diligently to help addicts and alcoholics from all over to discover and embrace Recovery. They have witnessed first-hand the traumatic effects of addiction and the impact it indiscriminately has on our friends, families, peers and communities. They decided to take a stand for the seemingly hopeless addicts and their loved ones and to fight for those who've lost their souls to the horrors of addiction. They believe that “HOPE” is the compass that guides these souls into the light of recovery. Both Kenny and Damian, once lost in addiction themselves, found their way out by first finding Hope in the lives of their peers who had recovered before them. That hope led them to the mentors who taught them the skills and principles to live a life of happiness, freedom and sobriety. It also introduced them into a community where love outshines fear and where people who were once crippled by their addiction were living happy and free. Damian and Kenny's hope is that Inspiro can be an instrument used to guide the hopeless and suffering addicts and alcoholics into the healing arms of recovery.

OUr Mission

At Inspiro Recovery, our mission is to help our peers who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction to find and maintain long-term recovery while supporting their family and friends in the process.  The Latin word ‘spiro’ translates to 'breath of life.' A similar Italian word 'spero' means ‘hope’.  Our team members know from personal experience that breath and hope are essential to recovery.  If you or a loved one are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, let us help.  We are your peers.  We have been there. We understand.
