Kenny's life is a testament that freedom from addiction, and a life of recovery is available to ANYONE - no matter how dark and damaged their life once was.
Drug and alcohol addiction played a huge role in Kenny's life since the day he was born. He grew up homeless, and at the age of nine his father was killed in a traffic accident while driving under the influence of alcohol. At a very young age Kenny surrendered to the very same disease that had destroyed his family. He spent 11 terms in prison and was eventually given the opportunity to go to treatment. He was broken and desperate but willing to surrender to a life of recovery.
Since that time Kenny has become an inspiration to those who suffer from the disease of addiction. He travels throughout the country sharing his story with troubled youth and hopeless addicts sharing a message of hope. He has tirelessly with policymakers to enact legislation that provides funding to treat addiction, homelessness and mental health disorders. He works closely with the treatment community, criminal justice system and local government helping to reduce recidivism and to ensure that recovery is readily available to everyone without distinction.
He currently facilitates groups at a local treatment center and is active in the community raising money for area non-profits. He's also a successful sales leader for a nationwide financial institution, a husband and a father to three beautiful children.
